American artist Lady Gaga is the most prominent in social networks, according to a Social Music classification carried out by Top Position and published on its website.

The interpreter of topics as Alejandro and Judas has more followers in Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and LastFMy, beating other artists such as Eminem or Rihanna singers.

Lady Gaga leads the ranking with 95 points. The United States is the number 1 in followers of Twitter, the third best positioned on Facebook, on MySpace sixth and eighth of Lastfm.

RUMOR: Exclusive details about the new album and tour of Gaga

A source close to Gaga, which at the time posted on his Twitter and were certain, has made public some details of interest about the new album and upcoming tour. Here are the details:

• 1. To understand the concept of the new album, we must pay attention to the song "Dance In The Dark".
• 2. The new album is a kind of mixture, of "The Fame", "The Fame Monster" and "Born This Way". The sound of the songs will be new and fresh, to understand this, the new album would be formed by the sound of "The Fame", the lyrics of "The Fame Monster" and the sophistication of "Born This Way".
• 3. The new album has more songs than "The Fame Monster" but less that "Born This Way".
• 4. Will be published as EP (as in "The Fame Monster"). The songs have a single theme, as in the first two albums. The diversity that appears in "Born This Way" is not contemplated.
• 5. The album will include a joint song with Elton John.
• 6. On the new album will not be touched topics such as religion, nor will any crosses or symbols.
• 7. The album will be released in the second half of 2012, it is likely that between the fall and winter. If not, in early 2013.
• 8. Gaga will soon begin to talk about the new album and its songs.
• 9. September 2012, will be very important for the Little Monsters.
• 10. The Tour will consist of two parts, (as "Monster Ball"). In the first part of the tour, there will be songs from "Born This Way" and "The Fame Monster" and the second half with songs from "Born This Way" and the new album.
• 11. The era of "Born This Way" is coming to an end. "Sheibe" was about to be the 5th single. The name of the next single is still unknown.

Lady Gaga has achieved a social media milestone as her official Twitter account now has over 18 million followers.

Last night, January 15, the ‘Marry The Night’ pop icon passed the incredible figure and took to the website to write a message of both thanks and astonishment to her gigantic online fan base:

“Can’t believe I have 18,000,000 TwitterMonsters, really rad, was just a few years ago I had barely any.”

She also teased Little Monsters with a message about the ideas for her brand new forthcoming tour and added:

Lady Gaga’s Twitter Account Hacked, 17 Million Followers Offered "Free" iPads

Gaga may love her little monsters, but not enough to give each and every one of the 17 million-plus that follow her on Twitter a free iPad. That’s why, when she appeared to do that very thing, people were understandably cautious…and with good reason.

Gaga’s Twitter account updated with the message “Monsters, I’m giving away FREE iPad2′s to each one of you in the spirit of the holidays :) Go to bit.ly/s5MTqM to receive one!” This came after an earlier (deleted) offer of Macbooks to each of her followers, also in the spirit of the holidays. Either Gaga had gone…well, gaga with yuletide generosity, or something was clearly up. After bit.ly updated the link to define it as “potentially problematic”–a polite way of saying “Please don’t go to this spam site”–that tweet was also deleted, and a third one posted, again inviting followers to a Bit.ly-ed site with the promise of free goodies.

Clearly something was up, a suspicion confirmed when Gaga replaced the offending tweet with a message that read “Phew! The hacking is over! And just in time, I’m on my way to Japan! So excited to spend Xmastime with my TokyoMonsters!”

According to TechCrunch, at least 7,000 of Gaga’s monsters did as their leader suggested, according to Bit.ly stats, with Twitter showing that a number of them also retweeted the offer. Gaga wasn’t the only Twitter account hit by the hack; singers Nelly Furtado and Nichole Scherzinger were both apparently affected and offering “free” Apple products to unsuspecting followers.

Lady Gaga Leads Forbes’ 2011 Top-Earning Women

She may not have been born this way, but Lady Gaga was pop’s top-earning woman in 2011. According to Forbes, Lady Gaga earned $90 million from album sales, touring and endorsements — double the estimated earnings of Taylor Swift and Katy Perry, who made $45 million and $44 million, respectively. In Gaga context, that’s over $5 million for each of the pop provocateur’s nearly 17 million Twitter followers, or $2 million a piece for her Facebook little monsters.
The numbers reflect earnings between May 2010 and 2011.
