Lady Gaga and Adele join Tony Bennett for Amy Winehouse tribute at MTV VMAs

Gaga, Adele and Tony Bennett will perform a tribute at the "MTV Video Music Awards" in honor of the late Amy Winehouse.

The 3 legends will sing “Body And Soul,” Amy Winehouse’s last recording that will be released as the first single from Tony Bennett’s upcoming duets album due out September 14th.

Proceeds of the sale of the single will go to the newly established Amy Winehouse Foundation.

Amy’s father Mitch had this to say about the tribute:

    “Our family is honoured that the VMAs are giving Amy this wonderful tribute. We know that Amy’s performance of ‘Rehab’ at the MTV Movie Awards played an important part in Amy’s worldwide success.”

The MTV Video Music Awards will air on Sunday, August 28th live from Los Angeles.
