Lady Gaga's Monster Ball wins Tour of the Year award

Gaga, who has been teasing fans with little snippets of information about her forthcoming new tour, has told fans that her Monster Ball has won an award.

The ‘Born This Way’ superstar took to social networking site Twitter late last night, February 4, to tell her 18.8 million fans that her last tour, which featured a visually stunning set made up of subway cars and flaming pianos, has been given a special accolade:

“Ah! Such a tremendous honor, The Monsterball won TOUR OF THE YEAR at the Pollstar Awards last night. Thank you so much!!! Next tour is soon!”

Rumors about the new tour of Lady Gaga will visit Argentina

Several rumors circulating the net about Lady Gaga, visit this year with her new tour. A source close to Estadio Unico de La Plata, says concert producer T4F would have booked the stadium for 16 and 17 November, to act Gaga there with her new tour. This will the first time that Gaga visit the country since because "The Fame Ball Tour" or the "The Monster Ball Tour", did not go through there.

"THE MONSTER BALL TOUR" the eighth tour more successful of the 2011

All remember the "Monster Ball Tour" with great affection and emotion for being the first major tour of Lady Gaga and if add you the success that has garnered, we extremely proud to have been part of it.

According to the list compiled by Billboard, the "Monster Ball" has been the 8th most successful tour of the year 2011, with a collection of 71.900.434 dollars profit, 745,735 people and 45 concerts of which 43 were full.

A tour with much success we now enjoy on DVD.

Lady Gaga talks about the singer of the Group Coldplay, Chris Martin

When Gaga was in London said she admires the singer of the group "Coldplay" Chris Martin, after meeting in "Children In Need" concert on November 17.

"I admire him greatly as a musician, is a brilliant reality." He was several times to "The Monster Ball" and always saw it, one of my favorite moments in life was when I went to his concert when he was still student when he recorded the song "Fix You" of Gwyneth Paltrow. I remember I cried hysterically at the concert. He has a truly incredible songs and is a wonderful person. I don't know, maybe we can work together someday "-said Lady Gaga."

Meets 2 years "The Monster Ball Tour"

2 years ago today, started the incredible Lady Gaga tour, "The Monster Ball Tour".
The first concert took place on November 27, 2009 in Montreal, Canada, and the last was held on May 6 in Mexico City. A total of 201 concerts offered Gaga on 4 continents: America, Asia, Europe and Oceania. Proceeds of the tour was over $200 million making it the fourteenth most successful touring in history and the first of a debut artist.

The Monster Ball Tour on DVD set to be released in November

Last week the French website chartsinfrance published an article about a possible release date of the Monster Ball Tour DVD. It has been confirmed that it will be released on November 21st and it will include the concert that Gaga held at Madison Square Garden, in New York City earlier this year. The only information available, for now, is the release date. We still need to wait to know more and see the cover. This is Lady Gaga’s first DVD and it’s already on Amazon, click here.
