Madonna is stepping up her feud with Lady Gaga!

The 53-year-old singer has apparently insisted that if anyone wants her to attend their Oscars after-party (The next 26 february), Gaga must not be on the same guest-list.
“It’s unusual for Madonna to be so petty,” a source said. “She doesn’t usually act like this, even about bitter enemies such as Sean Penn and J-Lo.
“But she didn’t want to be forced into a photo-op with Gaga.”

Madonna recently admitted she is a “details freak”.
“I wouldn’t go so far as to say I’m a control freak, but I am a detail freak. I chose the costumes, the locations, the lamps, the tables, the carpets, the drapes — everything,” said Madonna, who directed, produced and wrote her new movie W.E.

“I also liked to put the finishing touches on the actors before they did their scenes — you know, with their hair or clothes.

“Putting on a bracelet or something on to Andrea Riseborough‘s wrist gave me an emotional connection before directing her. Some of the jewellery we used was actually Wallis Simpson’s.”

Lady Gaga Defended by Elton John and David Furnish in Madonna Feud

Will it ever end?!

Ever since Madonna hit the road promoting her film ‘W.E.,’ the press has hounded the Material Girl over her thoughts on Lady Gaga. Now, following Madge’s Golden Globe win for ‘Masterpiece,’ two more divas have gotten involved — Elton John and his husband, David Furnish.

Before Madonna accepted her Golden Globe win, John told a reporter that she had “no f—in’ chance” at the award for Best Original Song — for which John was also nominated for his contribution to ‘Gnomeo and Juliet.’ When she did in fact win, TMZ reports that John was in the audience and “seemed p—ed off in the crowd when Madonna’s name was read.” We’ll attribute John’s beef with Madge to sour grapes. No one likes to lose!

However, John’s husband, David Furnish, was even angrier than John seemed to be. Furnish lashed out at Madonna on his Facebook page, posting, “Madonna. Best song???? F— off!!!” But he didn’t stop there. ”Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit,” Furnish continued. “Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in it’s narcissism. And her critisism [sic] of Gaga shows how desperate she really is.”

John and Furnish’s relationship with Gaga goes back quite a bit. They’re so close that they even named Mother Monster as their son Zachary’s godmother.

So far, Lady Gaga is the only person involved in this mess to not comment. For that reason alone, she may be the smartest of the bunch!

Lady Gaga Producer DJ White Shadow Hurls Insults at Madonna

This means war! DJ White Shadow, who worked as a producer on Lady Gaga‘s ‘Born This Way,’ has entered the Gaga vs. Madonna fray. By now, you know the story. Madge finally commented on ‘Born This Way,’ calling it “reductive“ on ‘Good Morning America’ and also telling Newsweek that it was a “wonderful way to redo my song.” While the Material Girl did say that she thinks Gaga is talented, the focus has been squarely on the not-so-positive commentary. The little monsters are on the attack, and now, so is DJ White Shadow. Sort of.

First, he tweeted, ”And obviously: someone should take there old lady meds before they are allowed to talk in public. No memories having motherf—er.” Ouch. That was a low blow on his part, but at least the man is passionate about his art and his collaborations.

He apparently was speaking about Madonna after she went on her press blitz for ‘W.E.’ and ‘M.D.N.A.’ and the inevitable subject of Gaga came up. Again and again and again and again.

DJ White Shadow eventually backpedalled a bit, later posting: “I obviously do not hate Madonna, or belittle her talent or achievements, however, if she thinks we stole a song from her she is wrong.”

The second tweet was obviously much more tame and respectful, and to the point.

While everyone is focusing on what Madonna is saying about Gaga, PopCrush is now much more interested in what Gaga will say about how Madonna is commenting on her and how little monsters are reacting.

Gaga is a sweet girl at heart and she has admitted that she loves Madonna, even calling her the “queen” back when ‘Born This Way’ was released. We don’t think she would diss Madge at all. Hell, we wouldn’t put it past her to have asked DJ White Shadow to post that second comment.

Madonna: Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” is a “Redo” of “Express Yourself”

Nearly one year after Lady Gaga released her single “Born This Way,” Madonna is finally commenting on claims that the song bears more than a few similarities to her own hit “Express Yourself.”

When she first heard the track, Madonna recalls, “I thought ‘What a wonderful way to redo my song.’”

She tells Newsweek, “I mean, I recognized the chord changes. I thought it was… interesting.”

After Gaga debuted the song last February, many fans and critics felt it borrowed its melody and theme from Madonna’s 1989 single.

Earlier this year, Gaga herself addressed the controversy during an appearance on “Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” where she said she’s “the hugest fan personally and professionally” of the pop icon.

But she also claimed Madonna and her team were “sending me their love and complete support on behalf of the single. And if the queen says it shall be, then it shall be.”

Now, it seems, Madonna is singing a different tune.

What do you think of Madonna’s comments?

Lady Gaga was not invited to the tribute to Amy Winehouse

Chicago’s B96 announced the possibility of an Amy Winehouse tribute concert this morning, so your Chicago Pop Music Examiner looked into this by talking with the possible promoter, Scott Winstone Productions.

The tribute would take place at Wrigley Field, which has become a viable concert location after the success of the Paul McCarthy series last month. Possible attendees include Barack Obama, Nelson Mandela, Al Gore, Bill Clinton, and all of Michael Jackson’s children.

Scott Winstone says that acts such as Prince, Elton John, Katy Perry, and Britney Spears are almost definite performers, while Lady Gaga and Madonna would not be invited. “Amy Winehouse, an activist for children, always felt Madonna was a bad influence on children while she considered Lady Gaga to be a complete fake.” More acts are being contacted within the next couple weeks. The concert would take place next spring.

“Amy Winehouse had her demons, but was a great inspiration for both children and adults. Her legacy simply cannot be repeated,” says Winstone.

What think about this?
