Harvard makes Lady Gaga their subject of study!

Although at first glance, the fact that Harvard teaches their students about Lady Gaga sounds a bit weird and probably funny, actually when you think about it, it makes so much sense, considering that Gaga managed to earn about 90 million dollars as of August 2011, and that her name just keeps on climbing the pop culture scene, positioning her as the biggest female that pop music has seen in a while.

Apparently, Harvard will offer a course for those interested in marketing, so they can identify what are the most creative strategies to reach an audience, create marketing success and to answer the needs of the consumers in this niche. Anita Elberse, professor at Harvard University shares:

"This is not the first time that Harvard takes the case of the famous star in one of his classes. Gaga also part of the case studies in a course in its MBA program on 'Strategic Marketing in Creative Industries'. In this case, the analysis focuses on identifying how to react when a business has economic losses 'important' for canceling a concert, for example".

And even when Gaga is just overwhelmed by the fact of Harvard attempting to do this, once again, it makes so much sense considering that in a bit more than 3 years she has gained the status of the most popular woman in pop music, which is not an easy task... Or is it Gaga?
