Brian May and Lady Gaga were the No 2 Unexpected Musical Pairing of 11. Here is the report: (Gibson) Legendary Queen guitarist Brian May plays guitar on a track on Lady Gaga’s new album, Born This Way, according to The Daily Mirror. The two musicians paired up for the song “You & I.”
“It’s always been Gaga’s dream to perform as Queen. If it wasn’t for Queen, there would be no Gaga,” a source told The Daily Mirror. “This collaboration with Brian May means the world to her.”
Of course, Lady Gaga famously took her name from a Queen song, “Radio Ga Ga,” thanks to producer Rob Fusari. In the past, Gaga (whose real name is Stefani Germanotta) has credited Queen frontman Freddie Mercury as one of her big influences. “Freddie was unique – one of the biggest personalities in the whole of pop music,” she said. “He was not only a singer but a fantastic performer, a man of the theater, who constantly transformed himself.”

Lady Gaga's former personal assistant has launched legal action against the Marry The Night singer, claiming she was overworked and underpaid.
Jennifer O’Neill, from Long Island, was employed by the star for 13 months, accompanying the 25-year-old her on her Monster Ball world tour last year.
She alleges that she she put in 7,168 hours of unpaid overtime and is now owed more than $380,000, according to a report in the New York Post.
The 41-year-old claims she had to cater to the singer's at times unreasonable demands around the clock.
She insists she had to ensure 'the promptness of a towel following a shower and serving as a personal alarm clock to keep [Gaga] on schedule.'
She was not given breaks for meals 'or, at times, even sleep,' and needed to be available at the star's 'earliest waking hour' or for 'spontaneous, random matters in the middle of the night,' according to the court papers.
O’Neill, who was paid $75,000-a-year, also had to ensue 'the availability of chosen outfits'. Gaga is, of course, famous for her eccentric wardrobe and once wore a meat dress to MTV Video Music Awards.
She filed the lawsuit in Manhattan federal court last week against the superstar’s Mermaid Touring company for unpaid overtime.

Gaga explained via Twitter:
Lyrics Take You Out.
Last week I saw you out,
and I knew we would be
a match in heaven.
Just the coolest kind of team.
I know there ain't no
way that we won't.
Cuz we won't stop 'til we
go, go the distance.
We're insistent.
Maybe I believe it.
I still believe it.
And you know, won't be defeated.
In my heart, I believe it.
Yeah, you and me are gonna win it, baby.
I'm gonna take you out,
take you out, take you out.
We're gonna show this town
what I know we're about.
Shoot it, run it, what's it called?
Everybody loves it. Football!
Shoot it, run it, what's it called?
Everybody loves it. Football!
I've got the feeling that
this year could be the one.
We're gonna tear it up
and burn out everyone.
I know there ain't no
way that we won't.
Cuz we won't stop 'til we
go, go the distance.
We're insistent.
Maybe I believe it.
I still believe it.

Gaga has been chosen the best dressed of 2011 undoubtedly Gaga, is finishing the year well
This Said Billboard:
Capturing another dimension of fashion, Gaga continued her majestic sartorial journey throughout 2011, even landing on the cover of Vogue. Shocking and just a tad risque, Gaga's style evolved to a more alien panache that began with her brilliant rebirth via a Hussein Chalayan designed womb at the Grammys. Her fearless style has landed her on our charts as one of the best dressed of the year. She was, after all, born this way.

American pop diva Lady Gaga will appear via videolink on a popular Japanese music competition on New Year’s Eve, public broadcaster NHK says.
The eccentric star’s appearance on “Kohaku Uta Gassen”, an annual singing competition between male and female entertainers, will including her singing and delivering encouraging messages over Japan’s devastating March 11 earthquake and tsunami, the broadcaster said on Saturday.
The quake-tsunami catastrophe killed about 20,000 people on Japan’s northeast coast and sparked the world’s worst nuclear accident since the 1986 Chernobyl disaster, leading to a plunge in visitors to the country.
The songstress visited Japan twice after the disaster and called on tourists from around the world to follow suit, and attended events to support reconstruction of disaster-hit areas.
A song and message from the singer will be recorded shortly before the show, NHK said.
