Last year, Lady Gaga set the MTV Video Music Awards on fire with a dress made out of raw meat. The dress made such a commotion that it got a spot in the Smithsonian (after being jerkified, of course). How will she ever top it?
PigofTheMonth.com has the answer. Or so they say.
According to E! Online, the online barbecue food retailer is going to give Lady Gaga $500,000 to wear a dress made out of bones to this year's VMAs.
Sounds right up her alley, but we see a couple of problems.
First of all, Gaga's music videos and live performances are still as bizarre as ever, but her fashion sense has been getting tamer. If you take a look at her last three Rolling Stone covers, she goes from bubble girl to machine gun boobs to biker chic.
Not only that, but just a month away from the VMAs, she must have already struck a deal with some big-name designer desperate to flaunt their skills on the dress the whole world will be watching.
Then again, she'll probably be changing into something new every time she goes to the bathroom, so it probably won't be a problem making another trip to the ladies' room. And PigofTheMonth does claim to have a "well-known" international designer behind the whole thing.
Lea Richards, CEO of PigofTheMonth, says the dress is 12 pounds, already made, unseen by the public and she'll "still be able to move in a normal fashion."
