Lady Gaga to perform at the Formula-1 after party in India

Was announced today (22.09.11) that Gaga is set to make her debut in India performing at the closing ceremony of the country’s first Formula One race.

    “Huge event for India to get a star of her calibre. She has one million Twitter fans and over 40 million Facebook fans. It’s a great feeling to get an icon like her to perform at your club at your lounge. She is very excited to come to India and to perform here!” — Arjun Rampal said.

The Airtel Grand Prix of India will take place at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida on October 28/30th and Gaga will perform on the last day, on October 30th.

Earlier this year, Gaga has been named the Most Searched Person in India, beating out all the Bollywood artists. Also her latest album “Born This Way” has been certified Gold in the country within six weeks of release on physical format.
