Gene Simmons talks about Lady Gaga

Kiss singer Gene Simmons has launched an attack on modern day music insisting: “It sucks.”
The star has no time for modern days rockers, believing they do not care about the music.
Gene believes fans who go to shows these days are not being given value for their money.

He stormed: “I think rock sucks at the moment. Artists look like delivery boys; they look like they could use a bath.

"There's no respect for the stage - the stage is holy ground. I don't care what you do. You don't have to spit fire or drool blood, but when you get on that stage, you should give people bang for their buck."

Despite his attack on modern music, he does have respect for one current artist, Lady Gaga.

Talking about the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, he has dismissed the rest of the artists as a waste of time.

He said: "There is only one exciting artist, and her name is Lady Gaga. Everybody else is exactly the same. Every rapper is the same as every other rapper; every rocker is the same as every other rocker.

“Uniqueness is the only important thing, and Gaga is the real thing."
