The Lower East Side one-bedroom rents for $1,850 a month.
Before Stefanie Germanotta was Lady Gaga, the future pop star would hang her undoubtedly fashion-forward hat in a modest apartment on Manhattan’s Lower East Side.
Now, the one-bedroom residence is available for a new tenant and rents at $1,850 per month. According to CitiHabitats, Gaga’s former abode boasts French doors, a marble bath and a spacious floor plan, just minutes from trains and the “hottest nightlife in NYC.”
The apartment was featured briefly on Gaga’s 60 Minutes interview in February 2011. She attempted to show Anderson Cooper her former digs, only to be shut down by the resident at the time, asking that cameras not be allowed inside.
